Susan Sacks, CAE, CGT
- Susan Sacks provides board management support for associations and nonprofits with a focus on:
- governance and infrastructure
- strategic planning
- volunteer and leadership development
- advancement of educational and professional opportunities
- strategic partnerships
Susan enjoys working with volunteer leaders, helping them identify and apply their skills within their various organizational roles. A planner by nature, she is especially effective helping clients gain clarity around their mission, goals, initiatives, and the development of step-by-step processes to help them move their organizations forward.
She recently served as the executive director of the School Nutrition Association (SNA of Mass.) while working with a variety of volunteer organizations around social justice and voting rights initiatives. Prior to working with nonprofits, she worked in publishing and corporate community relations.
Susan is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a Certified Governance Trainer (CGT) for BoardSource. She has a certificate in Corporate Community Relations from Boston College, as well as her MS in Human Services and a BA in Journalism. Susan is a member of BoardSource, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the New England Society of Association Executives (NESAE) and Nonprofit Executives (NPE.)
